Shahs of Sunset Alum Lilly Ghalichi Files for Divorce Again from Husband Dara Mir

Lilly Ghalichi filed for divorce from husband Dara Mir on Friday, June 20, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. The Shahs of Sunset alum cited irreconcilable differences after eight years of marriage.

Ghalichi, 42, listed June 19 as their separation date in the filing. She starred on seasons 2 and 3 of the Bravo reality series.

The former couple is seeking joint legal and physical custody of their two children.

Their daughter Alara is 6 years old and son Kashton turns 3 later this month. A prenuptial agreement is already in place, according to the court documents.

Fourth Divorce Filing

This marks the fourth time Ghalichi and Mir have filed for divorce over the years.

Mir first filed in 2019 after more than two years of marriage, but they reconciled. Then Ghalichi filed twice in 2020, according to TMZ.

Each time, the couple managed to work things out and stayed together.

Quick Romance and Marriage

The couple had a whirlwind romance that started in March 2016. Ghalichi told Bravo’s The Daily Dish about their fast connection.

“I would say the first date I felt like I dreamed him into life. I would say within two or three months of dating we were inseparable. It all moved very quickly.”

Mir proposed that August, just five months after they started dating.

They married in May 2017 at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The ceremony took place just over a year after their first meeting.

Two Children Together

Ghalichi and Mir welcomed daughter Alara in September 2018. The new mom shared her joy on social media at the time.

“Alara Mir Born 9/30/18. Our hearts are so full. Thank you for choosing us to be your parents,” she wrote.

Their son Kashton arrived in June 2022. Ghalichi celebrated his birth with another Instagram post about the growing family.

“Kashton Mir born 6/24/22. Mom and Dad are so in love with you, your big sister adores you, and the World is ready to welcome you ‘Kash-Mir’!” she wrote.

The divorce filing comes three years after their son’s birth and follows a pattern of on-and-off legal proceedings between the couple.
