Scott Wolf filed a restraining order against his estranged wife Kelley Wolf as their divorce proceedings continue, according to PEOPLE.
The Party of Five actor, 57, submitted his declaration requesting the restraining order on Tuesday, June 24, in Utah courts. His brother Michael Wolf also provided a supporting declaration for the filing.
Kelley confirmed she was served with the restraining order on Wednesday, June 25.
Divorce records remain sealed under Utah state law. A hearing was scheduled for July 1.
The restraining order came after Kelley’s release from a Utah hospital, where she’d been held on an involuntary 5150 psychiatric hold starting June 13. Authorities brought her to the facility following concerns about her mental state.
Social Media Response
Kelley addressed the situation in an Instagram post on Monday, June 23, telling followers she was doing well.
“I’m fine, y’all. I’m happy. No mental illness. No addictions. Just a woman who SURVIVED an involuntary 5150 and went on a 1st DATE 2-night. So nervous! OMG!”
The 48-year-old author and public speaker insisted her sense of humor remained "intact" after the experience.
A 5150 hold is a critical intervention used to detain people who are considered dangerous to themselves or others, or who are severely disabled due to mental health issues, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
Kelley wrote that she’d "called suicide hotlines (20 yrs ago)" and "had my heart shattered and my body bruised… but still kickin!!"
She told followers she was "on vacation for the 1st time" and concluded: "I’m ALIVE. I’m not quiet anymore. And the show’s just getting started."
911 Call Details
The hospitalization followed a 911 call from Kelley’s friend about her "escalating mental health crisis."
In dispatch audio obtained by PEOPLE, the caller asked for a "mental health team" to be sent to the Sundance Resort in Sundance, Utah, where Kelley had been staying. The friend’s name was redacted from the recording.
The caller described Kelley as "very skittish" and "very anti getting help," noting they thought "a team needs to go and insist that she get help."
"I do not think she will cooperate," the friend added. "We’ve been trying to get her to get some help for weeks to months."
Marriage Ends After 21 Years
Kelley announced her split from Scott on June 10 in an Instagram post, ending their 21-year marriage.
“It is with a heavy heart that Scott and I are moving forward with the dissolution of our marriage. This has been a long, quiet journey for me - rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children.”
She said she wouldn’t discuss details publicly but felt "peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion."
The couple have two children together.
