Savannah Chrisley opened up about getting ghosted by ex-boyfriend Robert Shriver after they briefly tried to reconcile their relationship.
The reality star shared the painful experience on her latest Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley podcast episode.
The 27-year-old Chrisleys: Back to Reality star explained that she and Shriver decided to give their relationship another shot after President Donald Trump pardoned her parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, in May.
“Once mom and dad got out, my ex and I thought, ‘Maybe let’s give this another go. And we hung out some, we went on a trip and had the absolute best time, because we truly were best friends. And we were keeping it super quiet.”
But things took a turn when Shriver suddenly stopped communicating with her.
“I got ghosted,” Savannah revealed. “I don’t think that’s actually ever happened to me before. So I really didn’t know how to act.”
The 24-Hour Breaking Point
Savannah said she waited a full day before realizing she deserved better treatment.
“And then, after 24 hours of not hearing from him, I was like, ‘Savannah, no. You deserve better behavior than this.'”
She decided to block Shriver on all platforms.
“Basically, I am dead to him, and he just needs to have my funeral,” she said. “It’s the way that that went down. So, I mean, it sucks but it is what it is. But was I sad about it? Very much so.”
The experience was particularly painful because Savannah had high hopes for their reconciliation. She thought both their lives were finally settling down and they’d end up together.
“I was sad because I had gotten my hopes up that this was gonna be my second chance,” she explained.

Finding Self-Respect
The situation forced Savannah to examine her own worth and boundaries.
She admitted putting “so much time, money, energy and effort into that relationship” before realizing she deserved someone who would appreciate and respect her.
“I was devaluing myself by allowing behavior like this. So, I chose to just block on everything,” she said.
Savannah described herself as being in a “grieving process” but said the decision felt right. She’s lived much of her life “not respecting myself and allowing certain behaviors.”
Now she’s entering what she calls a “new era” focused on self-respect.
“Part of this new life is finding respect, respecting myself enough to walk away, respecting myself enough to say no or to say yes,” she shared.
The Original Breakup
PEOPLE exclusively revealed in April that Savannah and Shriver had split after two years together. The pair first started dating on August 17, 2023, with their relationship becoming public that September.
Savannah had previously opened up about their March 6 breakup on her podcast, saying she was “truly grieving the loss of the relationship that I thought was gonna be where I was for the rest of my life.”
The breakup happened just one month before her parents’ release from prison.
Despite the painful ending, Savannah maintains there’s “nothing but love and respect” for her past relationship. She’s trying to navigate this new phase of her life while showing grace for how difficult situations can affect people’s actions.
The Chrisleys: Back to Reality premieres as a two-night event September 1 and September 2 at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime, with the finale airing September 16.
