Orlando Bloom & Daughter Share Special Father-Daughter Time in Australia

Orlando Bloom spent quality time with his 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove in Australia before news broke of his split from Katy Perry, according to a source who spoke with PEOPLE.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor was recently seen enjoying father-daughter activities while Perry continues her Lifetimes tour in the country.

“They had special dad and daughter time. Daisy’s very cute. Orlando was in a great mood and made every outing fun for her. He looked like a very caring dad.”

Bloom, 48, is also father to 14-year-old son Flynn with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

PEOPLE confirmed on June 26 that Bloom and Perry had ended their relationship.

The couple’s relationship began several years ago and got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019. Perry revealed the engagement details during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, sharing how Bloom had planned the proposal.

"Orlando had planned this for a while. He wanted it all to be special," a source told PEOPLE at the time.

He even asked Perry’s parents for their approval beforehand.

The couple announced they were expecting in March 2020 through Perry’s "Never Worn White" music video. Daisy Dove was born in August 2020.

A year after becoming a mother, Perry described the experience to PEOPLE as life-changing.

“My heart is so full, finally. It’s just the best in the world. It’s the game-changer.”

Signs of Trouble

Sources close to the couple indicated that issues had been developing for months before the official split announcement.

"They’re pretty much done," a source said before the breakup became public. "Don’t really see them being able to turn things around here."

The relationship had been "breaking down the last couple of months," according to the insider.

While Perry hasn’t made any public statements about the separation, she’s continued sharing moments with Daisy on social media.

Recent Instagram posts show Perry and her daughter meeting characters from the Australian children’s show Bluey. One photo captures Perry wearing dog ears like the character Bingo, while another shows Daisy in a glittery Bluey dress.

"AUS side quest tiddly bits weee," Perry wrote in her caption for the Australia posts.

Both parents appear focused on co-parenting Daisy as they navigate this transition.

The split ends a relationship that spanned several years and included engagement plans that never culminated in marriage.
