Ned Fulmer and his wife Ariel are not pursuing a divorce, according to a spokesperson for the former Try Guys member.
A representative for Fulmer told PEOPLE exclusively that the couple is “not focused” on ending their marriage. This comes nearly three years after Fulmer’s cheating scandal rocked the internet in September 2022.
The revelation contradicts widespread speculation about the couple’s relationship status.
The Original Scandal
Fulmer was removed from the popular YouTube comedy group The Try Guys after admitting to an extramarital affair with a colleague. The scandal led to his immediate termination from the channel, which had millions of subscribers.
He publicly apologized for the affair in October 2022.
“I’m sorry for any hurt or pain I’ve brought to my wife and my family, to my fans and to my partners,” Fulmer said at the time.
The incident effectively ended his career with The Try Guys, a group he’d helped build since 2014.
Marriage Status Update
Despite the public nature of the scandal and its aftermath, the Fulmers have apparently chosen to work on their relationship rather than pursue legal separation.
The couple married in 2012 and have two young children together.
Neither Ned nor Ariel Fulmer has commented publicly on their marriage in recent months. Ariel had previously addressed the situation on Instagram, asking for privacy during what she called “a difficult time.”
The spokesperson’s statement marks the first official update on the couple’s relationship status since the scandal broke. Sources close to the family have not provided additional details about their current living arrangements or future plans.
Fulmer has maintained a significantly lower public profile since leaving The Try Guys, while the remaining group members continue producing content for their millions of followers.
