JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez have broken up, according to a source who confirmed the news to PEOPLE.
The fan-favorite couple from Love Island USA season 6 ended their relationship on Sunday, July 27. Craig, 28, broke up with Rodriguez, 25, the morning after they attended David Dobrik’s birthday party together in Los Angeles.
“There was no big, public blowout,” the source says, addressing online rumors that the couple got into a fight at the Saturday night event. “That did not happen.”
The source adds that “They will not be getting back together.”

Social Media Tells the Story
Fans started speculating about trouble when they noticed both Craig and Rodriguez had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Both have also removed several posts featuring photos of them together from their social media accounts.
The unfollowing extends beyond just the former couple. Several other Love Island USA season 6 cast members have also unfollowed Rodriguez on social media.
Craig’s close friends Serena Page and Leah Kateb no longer follow Rodriguez. Their boyfriends, Kordell Beckham and Miguel Harichi, have also unfollowed him. Cast members Kaylor Martin and Liv Walker did the same.
Even Connor Newsum, who had a tense relationship with Craig during the show, has unfollowed Rodriguez.
From Villa to Real World
Craig and Rodriguez finished in third place during season 6 last year. They made their relationship official shortly after leaving the Peacock show’s villa.
A few months after the show ended, Craig told PEOPLE that “nothing [had] really changed” as they adjusted to dating in the real world.
“[We] do a lot of work together but we also have just [the right] amount of time so we can miss each other.”
Craig explained how the distance between them actually helped their relationship at the time.
“That distance also helps the heart grow fonder. But it also doesn’t put a lot of pressure on us to need to be with each other all the time. I kind of like it that we don’t live in the same city right now.”
The couple had been focused on taking things slower than they did in the villa environment. “Now that we’re outside, we can take our time,” Craig said.
Representatives for both Craig and Rodriguez did not immediately respond to requests for comment about the breakup.
