Lauren Sánchez misses her friend Katy Perry as she prepares to marry Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy.
Perry shared a series of photos and videos from Australia on Friday, where she’s currently performing her Lifetimes Tour.
“We miss you Katy ,” Sánchez, 55, wrote in a comment on the post.
The Instagram post included snaps with a quokka, footage with friends and a photo of Perry and Orlando Bloom’s daughter Daisy, 4.
Though Sánchez didn’t provide context for her comment, Bloom is currently among the celebrity guests attending the wedding festivities in Venice. Perry, however, isn’t there.
PEOPLE confirmed on Thursday that Bloom and Perry had split after nine years together. The Lord of the Rings star proposed on Valentine’s Day 2019, six years ago.
Despite speculation that Perry’s absent because of her split from Bloom, a source confirmed to PEOPLE on Thursday that she was never planning to attend.
“She was never going to the wedding.”
Perry’s Lifetimes Tour dates were announced in September 2024. She’s performing back-to-back shows in Adelaide, Australia, during the same weekend as the wedding.
Bloom arrived in Venice Thursday wearing all-black sportswear including gym shorts and a workout vest.
The Deep Cover actor was photographed greeting Kim and Khloé Kardashian, plus their mom Kris Jenner, over lunch at Venice’s Gritti Palace hotel.
Perry and Sánchez took a highly publicized, historic all-female Blue Origin flight to the edge of space in April.
Despite missing the wedding, Perry joined Sánchez for her bachelorette party in Paris last month. The celebration also included Kim, 44, Kris, 69, and Eva Longoria.
The group celebrated with dinner at Lafayette’s in Paris on May 15. "The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian," a source told PEOPLE at the time.
The next day, Sánchez enjoyed a river cruise around Paris with 12 of her friends.
