Katy Perry appeared to fight back tears during her first performance since news broke of her split from Orlando Bloom.
The pop star performed the final show of her Australian tour leg in Adelaide on June 30, just days after PEOPLE confirmed the couple’s breakup on June 26.
Video footage from the concert shows Perry looking emotional as she stood onstage near the end of the show. She raised her arms above her head and made a heart shape with her hands.
“Thank you for always being there for me Australia. It means the world,” Perry told the crowd before gathering herself to continue. “Now let’s sing ‘Firework!'”
Perry, 40, and Bloom, 48, got engaged in 2019 and share 4-year-old daughter Daisy Dove.
The former couple haven’t publicly confirmed their split.
While Perry was performing in Australia, Bloom posted motivational quotes on his Instagram Stories. He shared a saying attributed to Gautama Buddha: “Each day is a new beginning. What we do today is what matters most.”
The actor also posted another quote about overcoming fears and finding courage.
Bloom attended Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding in Venice on June 26, the same day the split news broke.

Relationship Timeline
Perry and Bloom started dating in 2016 after meeting at a Golden Globes afterparty. They briefly split in 2017 before reuniting the following year.
“Katy was very surprised and shaking with happiness,” a source told PEOPLE about their 2019 engagement.
The couple planned to marry in summer 2020. The coronavirus pandemic forced them to postpone their wedding indefinitely.
Tour Schedule
Perry launched her Lifetimes Tour in Mexico City in April. After wrapping up the Australian shows, she’s heading to North America for July and August performances.
The tour continues to South America in September. European dates are scheduled for October and November.
Perry’s massive world tour concludes at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.
