Janet Leigh Holden to Receive Will & Grace Residuals in Spousal Support Divorce Settlement

A Los Angeles County judge has finalized the divorce settlement between Eric McCormack and his ex-wife Janet Leigh Holden McCormack, according to court documents. The agreement includes specific financial arrangements for spousal support and entertainment industry residuals.

Janet Leigh Holden will receive $10,000 per month in spousal support from the Will & Grace actor.

She’ll also get half of the income from any projects McCormack completed during their marriage. This includes his work on the hit NBC sitcom Will & Grace, which ran from 1998 to 2006 and was revived from 2017 to 2020.

The former couple agreed to split their community property under California law. McCormack, 61, filed for divorce in July 2023 after 26 years of marriage.

Holden McCormack will keep her spousal support payments until she remarries or either party dies, according to the settlement terms.

The divorce documents show the couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split. They share one adult son, Finnigan, who’s now 24 years old.

McCormack earned millions during his time playing Will Truman on Will & Grace, which won multiple Emmy Awards during its original run. The show’s revival also brought in substantial income for the actor.

The settlement covers all assets acquired during their marriage, which began in 1997. This includes real estate, investments, and entertainment industry earnings from McCormack’s various television and film projects.

Neither McCormack nor Holden McCormack has publicly commented on the finalized settlement terms.

The actor continues working in television and theater, with recent projects including guest appearances on various TV series. His Will & Grace residuals will now provide ongoing income for both him and his ex-wife under the new arrangement.
