Maggie Thurmon has broken her silence following her rumored split from pop singer Benson Boone.
The 23-year-old influencer posted a “girls night edition” get-ready-with-me video on TikTok on Sept. 24. She tried on a new outfit and concluded by telling followers, “I am going to go cook dinner with my girls now.”
Boone sparked breakup speculation during his Sept. 9 concert in Nashville.
The “Beautiful Things” singer told the audience that “sometimes people leave your life,” adding, “it is always hard – always, every single time,” according to fan-captured TikTok footage. Fans also noticed the duo were no longer following each other on Instagram.
TMZ reported two days later that Boone and Thurmon had split.
Thurmon had been spotted in the audience of one of Boone’s shows just a week before news of the rumored breakup became public.
The content creator also shared photos to Instagram in collaboration with fashion brand Sézane, showing off the same outfit with the caption, “It rained in LA.”
Timeline of Their Relationship
Thurmon and Boone, 23, first sparked dating rumors in March 2024. They were spotted together at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party.
The couple debuted their relationship on Instagram three months later.
They made several high-profile public appearances together. The pair attended the Twisters premiere in July 2024 and walked the VMAs red carpet the following September.
Thurmon supported Boone at the 2025 Grammys, where he went viral for his performance. The showstopping moment included a striptease assisted by Heidi Klum and Nikki Glaser, his skin-tight baby blue jumpsuit and several of his signature flips.
She also stopped by Studio 8H when Boone performed as musical guest on a May episode of Saturday Night Live. He featured her in a photo he shared to Instagram after his appearance.
Speaking to PEOPLE in August, Thurmon said she would be “going on tour for a bit around the U.S.” throughout the fall. This coincided with Boone’s plans to travel around North America promoting his latest album, American Heart.
