Haley Kalil Explains Why Her Marriage to Ex-NFL Player Matt Kalil Ended

Haley Kalil opened up about the personal reasons behind her 2022 divorce from former NFL player Matt Kalil during a recent Twitch livestream.

The influencer and former Sports Illustrated model discussed intimate details of their marriage with popular streamer Marlon Garcia. She said physical incompatibility was “the biggest factor” in ending their seven-year marriage.

“Dead ass, for our whole marriage, dead ass!”

Kalil explained the issue by typing it on her phone rather than saying it out loud during the stream. A clip from the livestream shows her describing her ex-husband’s size as being in the “0.01% of the population.”

She compared it to “two Coke cans on top of each other, maybe even a third.”

The influencer said she explored multiple solutions to address their intimacy issues. She considered therapy, medical consultations, and even surgical procedures.

“But I was going to try it all: therapist, doctors. Not even lying. Looked up lipo-type s—“

When Garcia asked if they were able to be intimate, Kalil said it was “impossible” without causing pain.

Haley Kalil has built a massive social media following with nearly 10 million Instagram followers and nearly 16 million on TikTok. She married Matt in 2015 when she was 23 years old.

Matt Kalil played offensive tackle in the NFL from 2012 to 2017. The Minnesota Vikings selected him fourth overall in the 2012 NFL draft. He also played for the Carolina Panthers and Houston Texans during his career.

The former NFL player has moved on since their divorce. He married model Keilani Asmus in April 2024 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas.

The couple welcomed their first child together in August 2024.

Haley recently ended a relationship with Brazilian model Kyle Viera. She announced their breakup in a TikTok video in August, describing it as amicable.

“I feel like when people break up nowadays, there’s supposed to be, like, some big dramatic tell all of all the ways that they screwed you over and wronged you. But I feel like the older that I get, my relationships aren’t ending like that anymore.”

The influencer said her life “is a comedy” that “writes itself” when reflecting on her marriage and divorce during the livestream.
