Denise Richards Bravo Show Canceled Following Aaron Phypers Divorce News

Bravo has confirmed that Denise Richards’ reality series will not return for a second season.

PEOPLE has learned that Denise Richards & Her Wild Things was always planned as a limited series. The show was never intended to continue beyond its debut season.

The series aired in March and followed Richards’ family life with her three daughters. Sami Sheen, 21, Lola Sheen, 20, and 13-year-old Eloise all appeared on the show.

The cameras also captured moments with her now-estranged husband Aaron Phypers and her ex-husband Charlie Sheen.

The show’s status became a topic of speculation after Phypers filed for divorce this week. He submitted court documents on Monday after six years of marriage to the former Real Housewives star.

During one episode of the series, Richards and Phypers discussed their future together in a confessional segment.

“I’m done,” Phypers said about being with Richards. “Yeah, I’m never getting divorced again. Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f—— get divorced,” Richards responded.

Those statements now carry different weight given recent developments.

Phypers, 52, cited “irreconcilable differences” in his filing against Richards, 54. He listed their separation date as July 4, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE.

The divorce filing revealed details about the couple’s finances. Phypers claims he hasn’t made income since closing his wellness company, Quantum 360 Club, in 2024.

He alleged that Richards earns more than $250,000 monthly from various sources. These include her OnlyFans account, TV work, brand partnerships, and public appearances.

The court documents detail their spending habits. According to Phypers’ filing, the couple spends $15,000 monthly on dining out and $10,000 on groceries and household supplies.

He also claimed they spend $20,000 each month on clothing. That amount exceeds their $18,000 monthly rent payment.

Richards and Phypers began dating in June 2017. They married in September 2018 after about a year together.

Previous Relationships

Before Phypers, Richards was married to Charlie Sheen from 2002 to 2006. The former couple shares daughters Sami and Lola, who both appeared on the reality series.

Richards adopted Eloise as a single mother before meeting Phypers.

Phypers has one previous marriage on record. He was briefly married to Desperate Housewives actress Nicolette Sheridan from December 2015 to June 2016.

Their divorce was finalized in August 2018, just one month before he married Richards.

The reality series gave viewers a glimpse into Richards’ life as she balanced motherhood with her various business ventures. The show highlighted her relationships with her daughters and the dynamics within their blended family.

Fans had wondered whether personal developments might affect the show’s future. The confirmation that it was always planned as a limited series answers those questions.

Denise Richards & Her Wild Things season 1 is available to stream on Peacock.
