Brianna LaPaglia Turned Down $12.9 Million from Ex Zach Bryan to Take Control

Brianna LaPaglia revealed why she turned down $12.9 million from her ex-boyfriend, country music star Zach Bryan, during Thursday’s episode of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

The podcast host and social media personality said Bryan offered her the money to sign a non-disclosure agreement after their October breakup.

“I don’t want to give anyone power over me. I really want to take control,” LaPaglia explained on the reality show.

She told viewers she rejected the offer because it would have prevented her from speaking publicly about their relationship. LaPaglia said she wanted to maintain her independence rather than accept what she described as money to “sign away my voice.”

LaPaglia, 25, first discussed the alleged financial offer during a November episode of her BFFs podcast with Barstool Sports. She claimed Bryan’s team reached out with the multi-million dollar proposal shortly after their split.

The influencer said she felt empowered by her decision to decline the payment.

“I took control of myself by turning that down,” she stated on the Fox reality competition series.

Previous Relationship Details

Bryan and LaPaglia dated for about a year before he announced their breakup on social media in October. The country singer posted on Instagram Stories that he and LaPaglia had “broken up with each other” and asked fans to respect their privacy.

LaPaglia later said she was blindsided by the public announcement. She claimed she learned about the breakup from Bryan’s social media post rather than from him directly.

Bryan’s representatives haven’t responded to requests for comment about LaPaglia’s claims regarding the financial offer.

The former couple had been public about their relationship throughout 2024. They frequently appeared together at events and on each other’s social media accounts before the sudden split.

LaPaglia currently appears on Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, which features celebrities undergoing military-style training challenges. The show airs Wednesdays on Fox.

She continues hosting her podcast and maintains her social media presence, often discussing personal topics with her followers.
