Brianna LaPaglia Responds to Zach Bryan Diss Track

Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia fired back at her ex-boyfriend using Taylor Swift lyrics after he released what fans believe is a diss track about her.

The Barstool Media personality shared Swift’s song “Actually Romantic” on her Instagram Stories Friday, highlighting the lyrics: “It’s actually sweet all the time you’ve spent on me. It’s honestly wild.”

The post came right after Zach Bryan dropped his new album With Heaven on Top.

Bryan’s Apparent Diss Track

On the song “Skin,” Bryan takes shots at an ex, promising to take “a blade to my old tattoos” to drain “the blood between me and you.”

“I’m taking a blade to my own skin/And I ain’t ever touching yours again. How do tattoos take to your skin? Does your higher ground ever sink in? Do you love people just to win when it’s over?”

He also criticizes his ex for talking behind friends’ backs: “Do you still talk s— on all of your friends?/Need to take it all to the chin this time stone-cold sober.”

Fans immediately connected the song to LaPaglia, who has Bryan’s lyrics from his song “28” tattooed on her arm.

The timing is significant. Bryan’s album dropped just days after he married girlfriend Samantha Leonard.

LaPaglia’s Previous Response

This isn’t the first time LaPaglia used Swift lyrics to respond to Bryan. She mocked his marriage announcement in a TikTok video where she lip-synced to “Mastermind.”

“Checkmate, I couldn’t lose,” she mouthed while wearing a white top and Yankees cap.

Bryan’s Quick Marriage

Bryan, 29, revealed his wedding on Instagram December 31, sharing a photo of himself with Leonard, 28, in a strapless white gown.

“Tougher than the rest,” he captioned the post, referencing the Bruce Springsteen song.

The couple was first spotted together in July 2024 during Spain’s Running of the Bulls. They sparked engagement rumors when Leonard appeared wearing a diamond ring on Bryan’s Instagram Stories.

Abuse Allegations and $12 Million Offer

Bryan and LaPaglia announced their split in October 2024 under difficult circumstances.

About a month later, LaPaglia accused Bryan of emotional abuse. She claimed he offered her $12 million and a house to stay quiet about their relationship.

“You made the women before me believe that they had no other choice than to take money from you, sign their experiences away, sign what they went through away. You get to go skip off and sing your little f—ing songs on stage like you’re a good dude … Sorry, I’m not them.”

She made these allegations on the BFFs Podcast.

Bryan hasn’t commented on the allegations. He did burn a Barstool Sports flag on his Instagram Stories – the same company that hosts LaPaglia’s podcast.

Impact on LaPaglia

LaPaglia previously discussed how the relationship changed her during an appearance on Casual Chaos in April.

“I was catching myself worried about what I was saying or how people would perceive me and I was never like that before,” she explained. “I couldn’t recognize myself anymore… I didn’t even realize I was turning into something that I wasn’t.”

“I think that’s…kind of when the light bulb went off… Someone really can have so much control or power over you without you even realizing it.”

She also addressed fan comments about Leonard’s resemblance to her on her Plan Bri Uncut podcast in October.

“I think this is narcissism textbook 101 – that’s what narcissists do, they just go and find another version of you to date,” LaPaglia said. “I am flattered, to be honest, but I dyed my hair so that people stop sending me every single picture that he posts of her.”
