Alix Earle opened up about her emotional state following her recent breakup with Braxton Berrios, sharing vulnerable thoughts about how she wants to spend her upcoming 25th birthday.
The influencer posted a TikTok video on Wednesday showing herself in bed while reflecting on her changing priorities.
“Is my frontal lobe developing bc I’m about to turn 25 and usually I stress abt having the biggest party but all I want to do is workout, meditate, play card games, & have good convos w the ppl closest to me,” she wrote over the video.
“Either I’m maturing or just rlly going thru it .. maybe both “
Multiple sources confirmed to PEOPLE last week that Earle and Berrios split after more than two years together. The 30-year-old Houston Texans wide receiver and the 24-year-old social media star ended their relationship mutually, according to those sources.
The Timeline
Earle first met Berrios at a party in February 2023. She called him “NFL Man” in her early TikTok videos about their relationship.
The couple made their romance official at the 2023 ESPY Awards that July. This came after weeks of speculation about the mystery football player’s identity.
Dancing Through Challenges
Earle competed on the 34th season of Dancing with the Stars this fall. She finished in second place with professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy at November’s finale.
Berrios never attended a live taping during the 11-week season. Earle consistently told press and followers that his NFL schedule prevented him from being there.
As recently as November 29, she told a TikTok commenter that Berrios “couldn’t come bc of football.”
He did send a pre-recorded message that aired during the finale broadcast to support her final performances.
Personal Revelations
In a late November TikTok debrief about her Dancing with the Stars experience, Earle described the season as “emotional.”
“There were a lot of points throughout the season that I was sitting with myself and in these thoughts and started to realize these things or realize what I wanted in life,” she explained. “And I think as those thoughts would come up, I think it was scary.”
She also revealed that significant personal events happened during filming that she chose not to share on television.
“There was just a lot that happened in my personal life throughout the season that I am happy – I think – that I didn’t share for television, which I thought about at times,” Earle continued. “But I didn’t want to just say things for the sake of making a really entertaining package and putting these stories in other people’s hands. So I am proud of myself for that.”
The influencer’s recent post suggests she’s processing the changes in her life while approaching her milestone birthday with a new perspective on what matters most.
